Meet Dane Lawrence, DMD

Dr. Dane Lawrence was born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and brings a passion for service and patient-centered care to every aspect of his work. His journey to dentistry began with a strong foundation in science, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Miami, Florida. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

Following dental school, Dr. Lawrence completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he advanced his skills in comprehensive dental care, including crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, surgical procedures, and cosmetic, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Lawrence is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Each year, he travels to Jamaica to volunteer with the JAHJAH Foundation Group, providing a week of free dental care to underserved communities on the island he proudly calls home. He has also participated in outreach programs serving underserved populations throughout the United States.

Known for his warm personality and attention to detail, Dr. Lawrence takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care. His goal is to build lasting relationships while helping every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lawrence enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through running, soccer, and the gym, and cheering on his favorite teams, including Arsenal F.C and the Philadelphia Eagles. Dr. Lawrence eagerly anticipates each patient encounter, poised to establish meaningful connections and embark on journeys toward healthier, happier smiles together.
